High School Terminus will be held on the weekend of March 29th and 30th, 2014 on the beautiful fields of the Georgia Soccer Park in East Point, GA. We are aiming for Varsity, JV, and Girls divisions and will have physical trainers on staff, snacks available for purchase, and Christina Schmidt from UltiPhotos on hand to capture all the action. We will also have some Spin swag for captains and are planning on having showcase events for entertainment. The bid fee will be $250 this year and I will be sending out more detailed bid payment information to teams that are looking to attend.

If you are interested in joining us this year, please send an email with your name, your High School, the team division (Varsity, JV, or Girls) and the best way to contact you to HSTerminusTD@gmail.com for additional information. We will be keeping everyone updated by email but please visit our Twitter @HSTerminus and our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/events/1411340642431618 to keep track of updates and to get the conversation going!

Thanks for your time,

Hey gang,

The Ultimate Athlete Project will once again be open to new members on November 11th.

To be sure you don't miss the opening, and to get more information about my training philosophy so that you can make an informed decision, sign up for the wait list here:

http://www.theultimateathleteproject.com/sq/31188-get-on-the -wait-list

In case you have not heard, The Ultimate Athlete Project is the first and only training program designed specifically for ultimate. The Ultimate Athlete Project takes a long term view of training.

You will start with several months of off season training to build strength and power. Then you will enter the preseason with conditioning workouts that mimic the metabolic and movement demands of ultimate. I will stay with you in season with reduced volume programs to help you maintain your gains without over training.

The November opening is the last recommended opening date for college players, European players, and anyone else attempting to peak around April/May/June.

The program is delivered via a membership website. Cost is only $15/month. The programming is flexible. You can train 2-6 days/week with recommended schedules to help you get the most out of whatever time you can put in. There is also flexibility in when you transition from off season to preseason to in season so that you can peak when you want to.

while raking the yard, you don't put the rake back and then pull the leaves/pine straw forward in a curved, arcing path.
you throw the rake back...and slide the rake in a straight line forward.

apply that to your back hand throwing motion....and you'll find that the straight line path vs a curved arching path of the disc will improve the distance of your back hand huck.

reach as far as you can with the rake, rotating your shoulders, lead with the elbow as you pull the rake forward....pull the rake horizontal to line made by your toes.

if you pull or throw hucks with a curved forward motion, having to arc the disc AROUND your body, you're not getting the distance with ease that you could be.

you pull a rake and you pull a lawn mower string in a straight line path.....not in a curved arcing path.

if you want some training on your pull...consider wuff camp...or stopping by to rake my yard.
