Just passing along something from the Jammers (freestyle) list serv for any East coast players here in the US.

Truly historic discs being sold on ebay.

Give ebay a look and do a boolean search >> AFDO + frisbee.

best of luck to any bidders....

Six discs from The American Flying Disc Open from late '70s to early 80s. The AFDO was a large Frisbee tournament organized by Frisbee legend Jim Palmeri and his crew in Rochester, NY. If I recall, the tournaments typically offered disc golf, distance, MTA, and freestyle. Here is a brief description of each disc (see the corresponding numbers in the first photo):

1. 1980 AFDO white fastback (FB7). Good condition, scuffed on one side, slight orange stain on shoulder from years of storage near an orange disc).
2. 1983 AFDO orange fastback (FB15). Near mint condition. Lists Doug Correa and Jim Herrick as the 1982 fastback distance winners.
3. 1983 AFDO glow-in-the-dark 50G mold....a pretty unique disc. Near mint condition (some nail delay marks on bottom and small scratch on top).
4. 1979 AFDO red micro disc made by Discraft (but the only identifying mark is "USA" molded into the plastic on the bottom). Mint condition.
5. 1980 AFDO black Pro model (15 mold). Near mint condition (delay marks on bottom, top is beautiful).
6. 1981 AAFDO black CPI All-Star. Near mint condition (delay marks on bottom, top is beautiful).
