Greetings from beautiful Fredericksburg, VA
The first annual Erectionals tournament will take place on March 27-28
to prepare for upcoming sectional tournaments.
The tournament will have 8 teams (maybe up to 10) and includes nice
full-size fields on the Mary Washington campus and plenty of food and
water for BOTH days. Some sort of social event will likely take place
on Saturday night as well, maybe a nice steak dinner, we'll keep you
posted.

This tournament name is another step forward in the evolution of
ultimate in becoming a "legitimate sport".

For those of you planning to attend, I just wanted to go over the observer system real quick as we're experimenting with some newer ref/observer/rules options.
Each game will have two observers.
Both observers will be hammered drunk on carlo rossi.
They will be making active calls of 'dick' if you make a call on the field. Basically enforcing a 'No-calls for flatballs' policy.
Active travel calls, in that, if you call travel, you will be actively ostracized and your team will not be invited back to next year's erectionals.
In/Out of bounds and up/down will only be called by the receiver. 100% Trust.
'Battle' calls must rend the air during every huck.
Any discussion lasting longer than 5 seconds will result in BOTH players going immediately to the 'Joose Box'.
If your good time at erectionals ends before 3am, consult a doctor.

Did you really feel the need to clarify that the aforementioned
hilarious drunken observer rules were not actually copied from your
rules? Please describe the type of person you feel would not have
been able to discern that.

---no, i didn't have to clarify.......i was simply trying to BUMP the
tournament announcement of a team attending the UOA 8s....because they
seemed to be referencing our event.

now.....do YOU really need to clarify that the drunken observer rules
WEREN'T really 'copied' from the UOA Tournaments????
i mean....come on.
you HAD to point out that everyone COULD discern that the Erectionals

With increased interest in erection(al)s,
We have decided to expand the field of teams to 12. 6 mens teams and 6
womens. Because this is getting out so late we may have 8 men's teams
and 4 womens.
Keep those bids coming though! Due March 7. Teams will be announced on
March 8.
