Long Island Classic (Women’s Tournament)
Where: Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY
When: March 20-21
Who: 16 College Women’s Teams
Why: Because last year’s tournament was good…this year we know what we
are doing, so it will be great.
How Much: $200. For Just $200 your team will receive normal fruit
food/water, a PB&J station, a gift for each player on your team (last
year we gave away cleat/disc bags…everyone loved them), and well run
tournament. We are also in the process of seeking out sponsors for
the tournament so other small giveaways remain a possibility.
Last years teams included Nationals qualifier Northeastern, and many
other teams that placed in the top half of their respective regions.

In your bid please include results from last year, and your team goals
for this year. If you want to include something strange or silly
about your team (as some bids make this a requirement) we are not
opposed to reading something take will make us laugh.

This tournament will be UPA sanctioned, results will count toward
toward the college series.
Keep the bids coming, so far we have received interest from some good
women's programs.

We have all been told it will be. But I'm sure many teams that are
planning on attending would like to hear from the people running this,
just to make sure. Especially since so many early season tournaments
have been cancelled due to weather. My team is counting on this in
order to get the 10 sanctioned games in before the 28th.
