Early yet and I'm sure people will find some dislikes about the system
(e.g. I haven't chacked out standings or brackets yet) but my initial
imp[ression is the new scoreboard on the USAU site looks pretty
sweet. Pretty much live (or frequently updated) scoring for each game
and you can see how each game progressed (some gaps in some games, but
there is at least periodical score updating). What would make it even
better? More complete scoring and some live updates on player stats.
Of course, that is more work and I don't know how many people they
have on these updates (if it's just players submitting updates... I
suppose gaps are to be expected). Nevertheless, a great improvement -
thanks to those who have worked to put this together.

agreed. I like the scoreboard so far compared to past years. Following twitter of 32 teams is a terrible way to get scores but is ok to get specifics for 1 or 2 teams you like.

Big gripe about the scoreboard: Why bother offering Box Scores if you're not going to bother to update them. I mean what's the point...

Agreed! I'm really enjoying it too. It appears that leaguevine.com won't be as absolutely necessary for all the nationals score updates as I originally thought.

Additionally, I like that on the new score reporter, they are able to go and fix scores they messed up. I noticed some discrepancies between the Furious vs Truck Stop scores on the score reporter and from what @87til was tweeting. Obviously I trusted @87til more because his tweets were human readable and thus give them more credibility so I updated Leaguevine's scores using those. But happily, USAU went back and updated theirs to the correct ones and they even went in and changed the previously entered mid-game score updates appropriately!

Nonetheless, I'm still happy I put together Leaguevine as a different source of information. It appears a lot of people want to see human readable updates (People already viewed over 5000 pages on Leaguevine this morning alone!). Plus, any tournament in the future can use it so it'll still be useful after Nationals is over. So even though Leaguevine might not be quite as necessary as I thought for this weekend, I am really glad that USA Ultimate is helping to get Ultimate fans better updates!

One problem i'm having with the score board...it doesn't tell you what seed the teams are. I know it's a small complaint, but having (A3) and (A1) or (9) and (1)would be nice.

Not working for me either. Hopefully they get things figured out soon.

Either because there will be box scores in the future, or because they used a canned web app and didn't have time to fully modify it. I'm hoping the former.

The Box Score is fully functional. If a score is in bold that means
someone update the Goal/Assist as well as the score (just click on the
point to see).

My guess this is not being updated because it requires at least 1
person to be permanently stationed at each game. However, I'd be very
surprised if at least semis and finals were not updated. It's a very
nice feature.
