Lots of calls early in the game, the crowd really seems to be backing CUT. is this just a regional thing or is the bad blood for Florida coming back to haunt them? clearly there's a bias against Florida. they seem to be handling it well at any rate because CUT has a TMF already (causing half the calls with their fouling marks)

is anyone else getting choppy footage when the camera switches angles? or is that just me?

CUT looks a little more composed now. their depth should help them move past Florida in the end.

This game is like watching old people eat.

Yea my footage is a little choppy. And this is boring ultimate. Just hucks after calls. I'd like to see some flow.

Yeah, I love watching Ultimate and this has been painful. Calls everywhere. I almost want the Observers and the Captains to meet up and talk about it.

That said, you gotta think Carleton is going to start poaching back to help on Brodie. They've only defended him well once on that last huck (Powers held position).

---i bet Florida wouldn't consider a crowd against them to be
'haunting' them.
the teams for which i used to play....LOVED to have a crowd trying to
'haunt' us.
....makes you stronger...tougher...more appreciative of a win.

GO FLORIDA!!!!!(the uncw and ecu of the 90s, today)

come on CUT....stop fouling on the marks ya cheaters!!!!!

Am I wrong in saying that we are 6 points into the game, and Carleton
has 12-13 marking fouls? Near injury on the last throw from Gibson? 2
TMFs?

I just mean that it almost seems unfair that Florida is receiving so much hate, even though both teams are guilty of slowing this team down. I know Florida has the rep, but that shouldn't matter here in the finals.

I wish they would have delayed the broadcast by 5-10 minutes and just get rid of the choppiness.

I imagine this is because Carleton has a huge support system located very close by. I'm sure having your friends and family travel from Minnesota is a lot easier than having them come up from Florida.

Good thing we went mainstream with our coverage. Rarely had this problem with Ultivillage last year.

My God this is a fucking weak webcast and an even weaker game. Would rather have seen a Pitt, Cornell final.

Well, Florida has a round green blob, so I think they are leading Carleton's square green blob.

Why test your colour patterns?

That last huck to the endzone went off without a lag. Of course, the camera angle they chose left the football goalposts directly in front of where the disc came down.

Can we please bring Rob and crew back next year?

Right but when promised a live webcast...we expect a live webcast that we can actually, ya know, watch.

Maybe it is just a few of us, but I can't watch this game without the screen freezing every 5 seconds. The audio is fine though.

Did I just hear Kyle mention Mike Gerics? I'm pretty sure that violated the ban on Mike being involved in any UPA/USAU sanctioned event. I think Kyle might be fired.

footage seems to be the best when from a higher camera angle (less camera movement).

Where on upa.org is the link to the finals? I only see the semis, and
get routed to wakeboarding when I hit some other link.
