I've got the whole thing written down in my write up which should be
posted tonight. Pool play, the UW v. Florida and Minn v. Pitt
quarters, both semi games, and the finals are covered

Disappointing call by Pitt... it's frustrating to hear a defender say
that because he thinks he got a piece of the disc it doesn't matter
what else happened on the play. Regardless, it was a fun tournament.
Congrats Wisconsin.

Let's go Golden Domers. Give em some of that good ol' tough catholic
fight. My old man's an alum, thus I love all things ND.

I might ease down on that kind of talk; it being the fall and all.
Still many weeks to decide who is 'legit' and who is not.

I watched and filmed the whole game, including the play in question.
I couldn't hear what the Pitt player was saying to defend his actions
but the ND players were pretty livid, and for good reason. The video
will be posted online hopefully soon but from my vantage point it
looked like a clear foul (possibly two fouls, actually) by the Pitt
player, and there was no way he should have contested.

As an unbiased fan I was disappointed because ND made a hell of a
comeback in the second half to make a game of it, and ending the game
soon after that call seemed kinda crappy. It seemed like Pitt started
making more calls towards the end of the game, so that didn't help
matters either.

Yeah you might ease up on that kind of talk, but you'd be a pussy.
Sure I know it's a fall tournament. Were you there though? Did you
play against them this weekend? I did. I'm not saying they're going
to win nationals, but I will stand by saying that they are a good team
and I predict that they will still be good in the spring.

See, it works like this. If you go to a fall tournament and play a
lot of your rookies and don't do well, people can't say that you're a
bad team based on that. But on the other hand, if you go to CCC and
house up on a lot of good programs and do as well as they did, you can
be pretty sure that they don't suck.

Last year they beat a group of fairly talented, undersized club
players at Club Terminus.

i really hope, for your sake, the great lakes earns another size bid,
or else you are going to have to go through the trouble of saying,
"who would have thought, 3 good teams from the GL get left out?!", and
you'll simply be able to say, "looks like a mere 2 good teams from the
GL got left out".

What exactly was your assertion and what does that have to do with the
fact that you used to play college ultimate and you used to play in
the central plains?

Hype? I said that notre dame is "a good team and I predict that they
will still be good in the spring." I even played that down by saying
"I'm not saying they're going to win nationals." Such hype!

p.s. Adam Wiseman is not a good pseudonym.

size bid? i was referring to the system of cultimate which is all
about predetermination. i never mentioned the upa system of size bids
and regionals or any fair system where teams get to play out against
all their competition for their spots at nationals. i was talking
about them being cut out of the conference 1 league before the season
even starts. have you been following all of that stuff that's been
going on?

I prefer to muddle up the useless arguments with bouts of inside jokes
that nobody else cares about

but you're right i think it would be more of a bother than a blessing

uhhh, whats ultimate?? where am i?? i understand slapdick, im just
saying any system you come up with is going to leave teams out of
nationals, due to bid allocation.

you really won't be upset if the GL only gets one bid to nationals
this year?
