Due to an unfortunate last-minute drop, we have a spot available at
Midwest Throwdown, in your choice of the Roundup Division or Division
II. The tournament will take place on March 6-7 in St. Louis, MO.

More information can be found here:
http://midwestultimate.texasultimate.org/

The Roundup Division, in particular, is an awesome opportunity for any
young and/or developing teams in the area:
http://midwestultimate.texasultimate.org/roundup-division

If you have any questions or if you are interested in coming to
Throwdown, please drop us a line! We can offer free housing.

As was previously mentioned last semester, Missouri S&T Miner Threat
was interested. I'll donate them to you if you'd like.

Seriously though chicas, this will be arguably the best learning
experience your team could get. Ever. From the roundup division, one-
on-one contact with some of the best ladies out there, to the skills
clinic where individuals get to improve what's necessary, there is no
better way to spend an early spring weekend. If you don't have
anything better to do, which I'm guessing you probably don't, e-mail
those ladies now.

Dennis, I heard they were playing in the open division... Seriously
though, please use your pull with the Midwest women's captains to get
us a team...

Dennis, you are impossible. I heard Jujitsu was possibly submitting a
bid for the women's division though? We could make that work.

Michelle, don't even play with us like that. Now you got us all
excited like.

Also, some teams may be contacting you soon. I did my best.

The last time I asked Dennis for something (to get Julie to make me a
TSUnami skirt), I got the skirt almost immediately. I had previously
bugged Julie for about two years for that skirt with ZERO results.

Seriously, someone fill this spot. This is a tremendous opportunity!

Michelle, it seems as though my powers are waning. I've tried a
couple teams in the area, but have gotten no positive responses yet.

There might be the potential that a hybrid team of 2 schools could
field enough girls to make a "team." Both these programs are hoping
to make sectionals for the first time this year, so it could be a good
opportunity for their leadership to learn some things. Let me know
what you think.

We're open to taking a hybrid team, but we'd prefer to put them in
Division II. Holly, Anna, and I are going to split time running the
tournament and coaching Eclipse and TSUnami next weekend, and we'd be
happy to add them to the mix as well. BUT if there's no other way,
we'll put them in the Roundup Division. Desperation level is
relatively high at this point. Tell these kids to get in touch with
me- phone or email works.

Any games they play in Division II (and more importantly, the teams
that play against them) won't count. I'll let them know that there is
the opportunity. Phone number for you?

E-maill me at isaratd @ hotmail.com if you don't want all of ultimate
to know it.

If you are interested in playing at Midwest Throwdown (as an
individual or with a few teammates), please email us and let us know:

throwdown.td (at) gmail dot com

We are attempting to put together a pickup team to round out Division
II. OR even better, if you want to bring your entire team for an
awesome weekend of ultimate, drop us a line now!
