FULLY REALIZED FANTASY ULTIMATE!

thank you Rob for your attempts, but frankly the finals of nationals
just isn't cuttin' it anymore. We need a legitimate system, with real
scoring and actively monitored stats. If all C1 games have refs, lets
get them roster lists and have 'em keep track.

Here is a quick way that I think it should be set up, note that I'm
kinda fudging some things to fit the fact that Ultimate has no truly
defined positions (ie. Cornerback, Shooting Guard, Catcher):

Draft:
10 Rounds, snake draft
First 7 Rounds are single pick
Rounds 8 and 9 Rounds are two picks
Round 10 is four picks
for a total of 15 players on each team

Trades:
After each event, managers are aloud to trade one of their players for
an opposing managers player or an undrafted player.

Play:
For each Tournament weekend, each manager selects 7 starters, and 2
bench players. Because Handlers, Cutters, Defense are extremely loose
positions in Ultimate that essentially mean nothing, any 9 players can
be selected. As with any fantasy, you must do a little research to
make sure that your selected players are actually playing or they will
not earn any points.

Scoring:
Because of the lack of fleshed out stats in Ultimate, Rotisserie
scoring would be applied.
This means that teams would be ranked in each stat category and points
would be awarded by the rank.
The included stats would be: Scores, Assists, Blocks/Interceptions,
Turns.
This means that the maximum score for each weekend would be 4xY where
Y is the number of teams in the league
Further research should be done into how to score Callahans, Bookends
and Walrus.

I, now being out of college, would rather have this go down for
Club... but now that C1 is all up in the college scenes grill I'm
thinkin' now is the time for demands! So DO IT C1, bring Fantasy
Ultimate to the people

Drafts and Trades!?!
This is just dumb, how do you expect teams to practice? Are you going
to have the managers find all of these players jobs in their degree'd
fields when they move around year-to-year? Who is going to pay for the
players who actually have families and need to move them as well.
Oh yeah, you must be assuming that this magical C1 will be able to
give all of these players salaries...

I agree with Fantasy. We all know that the player that catches and
throws the goals aren't always doing the hardest work on the field,
what about pass efficiency, there are plenty of PDA stat trackers
teams already use.

Make sure all of your games have scoreboards!!! And if fans are
sitting on all sides of the field have multiple scoreboards maintained
by refs/observers. Its easy and makes the sport fan-friendly, I hate
having to walk up to players on a team in the middle of a game to ask
what the score is because no one watching has a clue... and people
forget a lot.

Blow a whistle... a lot... when there is a point scored... when a
timeout is called... make a signal... these are pretty easy and basic
things I think MLU has already figured out.

No, it's brilliant! I've been rejected from Stanford twice, TWICE!
Now that I have my college (ahem, C1) eligibility back and that Skip
has negotiated reciprocity between all the C1 schools, I can take some
online classes at Oregon, and then have somebody draft me and trade me
to Stanford. It's a win win!
