how many have YOU dropped?

just for the record, it should NOT be tolerated. treat it like"shit

I had the pleasure of tripping and twisting my ankle in a hole on my
way to catch a pull, and even then I got tons of shit for it.

I think I've dropped 3, maybe 4. The last time I dropped one, I
stepped into some mud and fell on my knee. Got my hands on it, but
couldn't pull it in. That's the only time where it wasn't entirely my
own suckiness.

Nope, State scored pretty quickly on that one. He did catch the next
one though, which I always make people do.

I dropped one in a tight game at champies a few seasons ago aganst
Surley. We got the D and scored anyway and won the title later on. I
think that's the only one I've botched in 31 seasons.

31 seasons. nice. that's what i mean.

Never dropped one but have thrown several high, blade like anhyzer
pulls that have been dropped. I even called a dropped pull before I
threw it at World's in Perth, when playing for OLD SAG.

You've probably got to be a pretty good player in order to drop alot
of pulls. It's like Nolan Ryan being the all-time walks leader and
Shaq missing the most free throws.

The best "dropped" pull that I have seen is when
a duder spiked the pull in the backdoor bracket
of NW mixed regionals a while back. It was an
important point of an important game, and he
just wasn't in the right mental space.

I think he was intending to stop it, like
you stop it after the roll, but forgot
about the roll part of the equation.

That was awesome.

I've thrown a few drops and have personally had 1.

It was in the championship game of Show Me State Games vs Mizzou. The
game momentum completely changed for the worse after the drop =(

At South College Regionals 2006 Joseph "Joey Storm" Huegerich went up
to me to check his inbounds pull percentage (I was a lowly stat boy in
those days) and subsequently guaranteed that his next pull would be in
bounds and that it would be dropped. Joey says a lot of things... but
sure enough, his very next pull bladed off the receiving players
hands. Believe it.

how about that sockeye dropped pull in the 2007 finals at 14-13 on the
upwind goalline? my brain nearly exploded, only to fully explode when
mike caldwell got a layout d on the first pass.

I've dropped one in 8 years of playing... at High Tide. But I do have
a good story...

I was playing with Tulsa at Mayfest in Kansas City in 2004. It was
Sunday morning and we were playing in quarterfinals against
Fayetteville, knowing they were going to play us first game Sunday
morning they got Jeff Koontz blitzed the night before.... then
proceeded to give him drinks that morning. He dropped the pull on the
3rd or 4th point of the game and literally walked off the field and
straight into the woods, not to be seen again.

This should be standard punishment for dropping pulls... go to the
woods...
