What is with the lack of brackets or understandable results on score
reporter?

I love to look at how the past weekend went but all of these
tournaments did an awful job providing bracket results from Sunday or
even the entire tournament this year (aside from those with weather
issues):

Mardi Gras: http://www.upa.org/scores/tourn.cgi?div=23&id=6115
Spring Ultimax: http://www.upa.org/scores/tourn.cgi?div=23&id=6075
High Tide (has anyone ever put a High Tide bracket on score reporter)
Stanford Invite: (WTF is going on here!?!) http://www.upa.org/scores/tourn.cgi?div=23&id=5756
Terminus: http://www.upa.org/scores/tourn.cgi?div=23&id=5717
Fools Fest: (was this snowed out?) http://www.upa.org/scores/tourn.cgi?div=23&id=5818
Roll Call: (How the hell do I read this?) http://www.upa.org/scores/tourn.cgi?div=23&id=5755
Huck Finn: http://www.upa.org/scores/tourn.cgi?div=23&id=6009

I know there is a lot of talk about weather cancelling 1/2 or entire
tournaments, notes on score reporter would be nice. Lack of any
brackets at all though? Why do you password protect your score
reporter entry if you aren't going to enter information? Maybe Score
reporter needs to be a little more like wikipedia...

Am I the only one annoyed by this? I've been out of college for a
couple years and this is my only way to see whats going on... besides
sifting through the spam on rec.sport maybe I'm missing a college
ultimate website that has the brackets. anyone?

-Keith
P.S. Props to Chicago Invite for actually getting a large tournament
with readable results online

Anything run by Cultimate will more than likely not have an
understandable format, and if they do it's fubar.

The Terminus score reporter link is actually up to date. The games
you're seeing, without scores, are from matchups and bracket play that
was unfortunately canceled due to inclimate weather. So the pool play
scores from Saturday are all there - it's actually as about as
accurate a score reporter link as you'll find. Just a heads up as the
missing scores aren't due to laziness, just the fact that College
Terminus seems to revel in the worst weather ever.

sunday at ultimax was cancelled because it monsooned all weekend, so
thats why the brackets are empty. not sure why they didn't take the
bracket down

Every Open/Womens Easterns and Beasterns score was updated at the end
of each round. In some cases, games were updated while in progress.
Any incomplete Open Easterns scores are due to the lighting delay and
teams having to hit the road early. We offered a field for every
placement game, although some were late in the day.

Even with wacky formats, individual game scores can be easily
published. If it's not done, that's just lazy TDing.

Bottom line, get the scores in. It's easy to do and the sooner the
better.

This is Christian from ffindr, and yes, I´m also not very pleased with
the quality of available tournament results. Besides the missing or
incomplete results on score reporter I also struggle with the
inaccessible bracket presentation (which might be due to the fact that
I´m European and simply not used to it -- we prefer plain and simple
numbered lists ;).

Anyway, I´d really like to see more results on ffindr. Each event has
a dedicated results section, and events (and thus results) can be
modified by any moderator (wiki style). Until now there are no special
moderators from/for the US, but this can change. Let me know if you
are interested in using ffindr as an event result archive... it is
made for it and it can (and will) constantly adapt to meet the needs.

the scores for all games at college southerns (64 teams total) were
posted at the end of each day. i agree that it's not hard to do, and
every TD should get it done ASAP.

Fools was in fact cancelled due to freezing rain. Thats why those
results are not up. Had games been played the scores would have been
updated in real time.
