FUEL, the University of Florida's women's ultimate frisbee team, is
proud to announce the Florida Winter Classic, a women's college
tournament, January 31st & February 1st, 2009. This will be an
excellent tune-up for the college spring season. Remember, where you
are it might be 30 degrees at noon, but in Gainesville it is about 70
degrees!

The vital information:

What: Florida Winter Classic
Who: 12-16 women's college teams (we have sufficient field space for
up to 20 teams)
Where: University of Florida (it's in Gainesville, Florida, but the
Gator Nation is everywhere)
When: January 31st-February 1st, 2009
Cost: $225 per team. If you bring more than one team, discounted fees
can be negotiated
Bids: Bids are being accepted now! Please see the tournament website
(http://sites.google.com/site/floridawinterclassic/) for information
for submitting bids.

We will be providing all the standard tournament ammenities (bagels,
abundant water, bananas, oranges, etc.), a tournament party Saturday
night, and a fantastic, Saturday-afternoon "friendly competition." We
may also be able to put up a team or two (first come, first served) in
players' houses.

If you have any questions regarding this tournament or are interested
in submitting a bid, please contact the tournament director, Allison
Walford at floridawinterclassic@gmail.com or visit the FWC website at
http://sites.google.com/site/floridawinterclassic/

Looking forward to a great tournament,
Allison Walford
FWC TD
FUEL captain, #33
